Country music star Ella Langley abruptly canceled a scheduled concert after a “serious security threat” raised concerns about the safety of fans, venue staff and her team, the singer announced in an Instagram post.
“Due to a serious security threat involving the safety of my fans, the venue staff, and my team, the incredibly difficult decision was made to cancel tonight’s show. This decision was made under the advisement of local authorities, the venue, and my security team,” the music star began.
She said the decision followed guidance from local authorities, venue officials and her security team, adding that she refused to put anyone in danger. The singer did not disclose the nature of the threat or provide additional details.

The Tulsa Police Department posted an update on Facebook Friday.
“As with any large event, the Tulsa Police Department goes to great lengths to ensure that it is safe for eventgoers and those coming to perform,” the department said, adding that before the event, its K-9 unit, Bomb Team, Patrol, and BOK security did a sweep for anything dangerous and “did not find anything.”
The department continued, “A call was made threatening the lives of people attending the event. Out of an abundance of caution, we swept the building and surrounding area and again found no credible threat to the event’s safety. We advised the performer’s staff that we found no credible threat to the event, but they decided to cancel the performance anyway,” the account said.
The Tulsa Police Department concluded with sharing that the “incident is under investigation.”
Fox News Digital has reached out to Langley’s representative and the BOK Center for additional comment.
